Reviews and Ratings
My lovely spacious room needed repainting as there were lots of marks, but it wasn't a problem. The corridors had similar marks but overall fine. There was no shower, though the fixings were there. The location was stunning, ideal for a private function, right by the lake surrounded by small woods and open grassland. The service was wonderful, beautiful, and quiet, with great food. The dining experience was fantastic, especially the scrambled duck eggs and smoked salmon. The facilities were fantastic.
The hotel is in a beautiful location near a lake in the countryside, with very friendly staff. The rooms were spacious but had a strong, highly perfumed smell, which was rather unpleasant. The dining experience had some disappointing elements but was overall good for the price.
The hotel offers a swim school experience that is off-limits during lessons, which can be frustrating considering the price paid for the room. The rooms are in need of attention and lack views of the lake, but are overall decent. The location is brilliant and friendly, making it a great base for exploring local attractions. The dining experience was pleasant, and the facilities are adequate.
